TRU PACE helps older adults navigate the complicated issues associated with aging. Our program helps older adults to live in their own home or in a community supported facility.
Here’s an example of what a day might look like as a TRU PACE participant:
The TRU PACE center is an active place where older adults have access to medical care, social activities, exercise, therapy, and meals. Typically participants attend the center a couple of days per week based on the healthcare team’s recommendations and the needs and interests of the participant.
Your morning begins when the TRU PACE van arrives at your front door. The familiar van driver will help you get into the van comfortably.
When you arrive at the TRU PACE center, you may visit with the medical staff, socialize with friends, participate in any of the daily activities, eat a lunch customized for your dietary needs, and exercise with a physical therapist to maintain strength and mobility.
Additional happenings at the center could include entertainment or a quiet talk with a social worker.
After a full day at the TRU PACE center, the transportation van driver will return you to your home.
